Senior Housing - Stability in a Shaky Market

In an article published by Sam Chandan, the chief economist at Real Estate Econometrics, the senior housing sector is broken down. Occupancy levels have been in a downward spiral for nearly two years. Finally, in 3Q09, occupancy levels increased. The bottom line, though, is senior housing has been relatively stable and with the demographic trends continuing, more space will be needed.
